James MacFadyen – new technical sales engineer & product specialist at Unison Ltd.
Unison Ltd, the UK-based inventor of ultra-precise, all-electric tube manipulation, has employed James MacFadyen MEng as technical sales engineer & product specialist. Previously a senior operations team lead with insurance business Allianz, where he managed a number of engineering surveyors, Mr MacFadyen began his engineering career in military aviation.
At Unison Ltd he will be involved in presenting the technical capabilities of the company’s extensive range of machine tools to customers in the UK and overseas. Technologies include Unison’s all-electric and hybrid-electric tube bending machines; Pneuform wire bending machines; end-forming machines from recently acquired North American business PHI Hydraulics; and Unison’s Opt2Sim suite of tube simulation software.
“During my time at Allianz, I particularly enjoyed forging strong client relationships as well as the business development aspects of my role,” says Mr MacFadyen. “As I am equally passionate about precision machine tools that embrace advanced technologies to improve product quality and streamline manufacturing, the opportunity to join Unison Ltd seemed too good to miss. I am delighted to take up the role of technical sales engineer & product specialist and look forward to helping businesses both at home and overseas benefit from the incredible manufacturing solutions that Unison Ltd provides.”
“We’re exceptionally pleased to welcome James to the team,” says Unison Ltd’s UK sales manager, Luke Gibson. “His considerable technical skillset and clear interpersonal skills will be a real asset to our business.”
