HURCO announces December Open House

New finance initiative to be unveiled

Hurco Europe’s annual end-of-year open house exhibition will be held this year at its High Wycombe showroom on Tuesday 1st and Wednesday 2nd December 2026 from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm on both days. Lunch will be provided, as well as refreshments throughout the event. In addition to a showroom full of new Hurco CNC machine tools under power and cutting metal, there is the added attraction that many of Hurco’s primary suppliers will be in attendance. Pre-registration is at www.hurco.com

Taking centre-stage this year will be an innovative machine finance option from Hurco, known as ‘Peace of Mind Finance’, introduced specifically in response to the challenging conditions that manufacturing industry is currently experiencing. It is aimed at machine tool users who have a full order book today, but are uncertain about the future.

David Waghorn, managing director of Hurco Europe said, “It allows a new Hurco machine to be leased for 36 months, with the option to return it after 18 months.

“Of course, it is preferable to keep the machine for at least the first 36 months and if work keeps coming in, 80% of the payments count towards an eventual machine purchase.”

Advisors from IEF, part of Compass Finance will be on-site and ready to discuss all hire purchase and lease options. A further benefit is that the operating lease can be presented as an overhead cost, avoiding the need to raise a capital purchase.

The latest machine automation options from Hurco will be on show, including the well-established ProCobot range for component loading, represented by a ProFeeder-X with 10 drawers loading a VMX30UDi 5-axis vertical machining centre.

Hurco cobots will feature prominently at the next Open House.

There will also be a ProFeeder Tray loading and stacking finished parts produced on a 3-axis VM20i machining centre. This plug-and-play component-loading automation system is ideal for producing small to medium batch quantities of components. A simple app appears on the Hurco WinMax control screen and only minimal information needs to be entered to set up a job. Almost no programming is needed. Additionally, users have the reassurance that the ProCobot and the machine tool are supported by the same company.

The Kawasaki PC25 industrial robot system, first launched at MACH 2026, will be seen in conjunction with a VMX42SRTi 5-axis machining centre loading both vices and pallets with a variety of one-off components. This ingenious cell is a real benefit for the user, as the same Hurco Job Automation software is used for both the Kawasaki and ProCobot options. It makes learning and support simple and straightforward, with no robot programming required.

Completing the display of Hurco’s 5-axis configurations will be a direct-drive 15,000 rpm-spindle VMX30Di 3-axis machining centre fitted with a Kitagawa TT200 rotary-tilt table, providing a flexible, bolt-on, simultaneous 5-axis production platform. There will additionally be four 3-axis CNC machining centres under power and making parts. Sizes range from the compact, versatile VM10i to the flexible VMX42Di with a 15,000 rpm, 40-taper spindle, 40-station tool changer and X, Y, Z travels of 1,067 x 660 x 610 mm.

The Hurco range of CNC turning centres will be represented by the TMX8MYi driven-tool lathe with Y-axis, together with a TM6i 2-axis lathe. All Hurco CNC turning centres have the benefit of simple conversational programming on the Max 5 control, making one-offs and small batches quick and easy to complete.

As a special feature this year, and partly as a reflection of the quality of the current stock, two recent used machines, a 4-axis VM20i (2024) with a Hurco H200 CNC rotary table and a VMX50Di (2022) with 15,000 rpm direct-drive spindle and 40-station tool changer will share the demonstration area normally reserved for new machines.

Further used and refurbished machines will be available to view via an access doorway into the main Hurco operations warehouse adjacent to the showroom. Subject to prior sale, there are currently 10 recent previously-owned machines listed on the regularly-updated Hurco website www.hurco.com

This year, as many as 19 specialist companies will have their own small stand offering tooling, workholding, CADCAM, metrology, automation, mist extraction, rotary tables, barfeeds, angle heads, probing and machine tool finance. It gives existing Hurco users and potential customers the opportunity to discuss ancillary equipment in a relaxed and informed environment.
